As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved. 

In the STACKIT Control Plane Platform Team, you assume responsibility for our API platform. You design and operate the technological foundation of the STACKIT Cloud: the regional multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters of the Cloud Control Plane. In doing so, you place the highest value on isolation, security, and performance.

Your tasks

  • You develop internal tools to automate the provisioning of our infrastructure, thereby contributing to the optimization of our processes.
  • As part of our team, you are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of monitoring systems that ensure the maximum availability and optimal performance of our products.
  • You work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and support them in the optimal deployment of their services on the platform.
  • You always stay up to date regarding Kubernetes technologies and trends.
  • You actively contribute to our security best practices and compliance efforts.

Your Profile

  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
  • You bring passion and conviction for new technologies and topics surrounding Kubernetes, Linux, and virtualization.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture.
  • You possess advanced programming experience, preferably in Go.
  • You have already gained basic experience with the Kubernetes Operator Pattern, software-defined networking (e.g., Istio, Calico), and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Git, Concourse, Flux).
  • You are well-versed in templating (e.g., Helm, Kustomize) and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) technologies.
  • You possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
