Strong Partners for Europe's Digital Sovereignty: Celonis and Snowflake Expand Data & AI Ecosystem on STACKIT

At the Cloud X Summit by STACKIT, Schwarz Digits announced a significant expansion of the data and AI ecosystem on its cloud platform. With Celonis and Snowflake, two leading technology providers are joining STACKIT's sovereign European cloud infrastructure. These partnerships mark an important milestone for companies and organizations looking to leverage state-of-the-art AI and data analytics technologies without compromising on data sovereignty and IT security.

Sovereign Process Intelligence with Celonis

As part of the cooperation, Celonis and STACKIT will offer the Celonis software platform together with the Celonis Context Model in a dedicated environment directly on the STACKIT Cloud in the future.

Using Process Intelligence technology from Celonis, organizations analyze, optimize, and orchestrate highly complex business processes in real time. By running the solution on the STACKIT Cloud, companies use data-driven process automation and artificial intelligence safely and reliably – fully hosted in European data centers.

Snowflake and STACKIT for Maximum Data Control

The integration of Snowflake's AI Data Cloud on STACKIT addresses key requirements of modern enterprise data architectures:

By using the open table format based on open-source standard Apache Iceberg™, data will be stored on STACKIT in a vendor-neutral standard. Customers benefit from full interoperability and flexible query capabilities – without vendor lock-in.

All data is cryptographically encrypted via the STACKIT Key Management Service (KMS) to ensure the highest security standards.

In a second step, STACKIT will host the Snowflake AI Data Cloud natively on its own platform. As a result, all steps of data storage and analysis remain consistently on European infrastructure.

By integrating both partners into its ecosystem, STACKIT brings further global, advanced technologies to a sovereign European hyperscaler. This particularly benefits customers with high requirements for data security and digital sovereignty.
