All our data centers and servers are located in Germany and Austria and are therefore subject to the highest data protection standards that apply worldwide.
The development of our cloud takes place exclusively in Germany. All our services are operated in our own data centers.
This means that the STACKIT Cloud is 100% compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation.
Processes such as the collection, storage and processing of data in the STACKIT Cloud take place exclusively in our own German data centers. We therefore guarantee the highest security standards and EU data protection regulations.
Technical and industrial standards in cloud technology
The C5 criteria catalog (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalog) of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) defines minimum requirements for secure cloud computing. The STACKIT infrastructure is certified according to C5 Type 2 and thus fulfills one of the highest standards in the area of cybersecurity. Thanks to the additional ISAE 3000 certification (SOC 2) and the ISAE 3402 certificate, international compliance and security requirements are also met. Security specifically for the cloud. We are also continuing to expand our pioneering role: With ISO 27017 certification, we prove that our cloud architecture meets the strictest international requirements for cloud security. Your systems are in the safest hands with us.
Maximum protection for your data. In addition, we guarantee the uncompromising protection of personal data (PII) with ISO 27018. We ensure that your privacy is protected in the cloud according to the highest global standards.
With the ISO 27001 certificate based on IT baseline protection for the information network for the provision and operation of IaaS and PaaS cloud services: STACKIT Compute Engine, STACKIT Network & Security, STACKIT Block Storage, STACKIT Object Storage (S3) as well as all necessary processes, applications, systems, networks and locations of Schwarz Digits Cloud GmbH & Co. KG, the highest level of security is guaranteed for our customers. We would like to point out that a detailed audit report of the BSI exists for the certificate. The report can be made available on request.
