The STACKIT TI-Messenger (TI-M) makes it possible to connect all service providers in the healthcare sector. It works in a similar way to WhatsApp, but is more secure and 100% data protection compliant. You can also use TI-M to transfer even large volumes of data efficiently. The messenger was developed by gematik (National Agency for Digital Medicine).
Why is the TI-Messenger important for networking in the healthcare sector?
The simpler the communication, the easier it is to work together and provide better care for patients. This is why TI-M plays a key role in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector. As the messenger is integrated into the telematics infrastructure, all service providers can be networked with each other - securely and in compliance with data protection regulations. This means that communication is concentrated on just one central channel, making it particularly efficient.
In the next expansion stage, seamless communication with health insurance companies and patients will also be possible. gematik also plans to integrate TI-M into the electronic patient file (ePA) by the beginning of 2025. This will then enable secure communication between doctors, nursing staff and patients.
