STACKIT TI-Messenger

Digital networking in the healthcare sector. Your key to digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

STACKIT TI-Messenger Hero

A secure messenger for the healthcare sector

The STACKIT TI-Messenger (TI-M) makes it possible to connect all service providers in the healthcare sector. It works in a similar way to WhatsApp, but is more secure and 100% data protection compliant. You can also use TI-M to transfer even large volumes of data efficiently. The messenger was developed by gematik (National Agency for Digital Medicine).

Why is the TI-Messenger important for networking in the healthcare sector?

The simpler the communication, the easier it is to work together and provide better care for patients. This is why TI-M plays a key role in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector. As the messenger is integrated into the telematics infrastructure, all service providers can be networked with each other - securely and in compliance with data protection regulations. This means that communication is concentrated on just one central channel, making it particularly efficient.

In the next expansion stage, seamless communication with health insurance companies and patients will also be possible. gematik also plans to integrate TI-M into the electronic patient file (ePA) by the beginning of 2025. This will then enable secure communication between doctors, nursing staff and patients.

The advantages of the STACKIT TI-Messenger

TI-M offers a number of advantages that would not be possible with other public messengers - especially when it comes to security or the interlinking of important players in the healthcare system in a "safe space".

Secure and data protection compliant

TI-M guarantees communication that has multiple layers of protection against third-party access and meets the requirements of the GDPR and gematik. It therefore meets the high security and data protection requirements in the healthcare sector in a sovereign German cloud.

Networked

TI-M provides access to a nationwide address book of all medical service providers, from clinics and experts to pharmacies. This means that all players can also network across regions and work together effectively.

Customized

TI-M is based on proven open source software in the public sector and can be customized in design and user interface to meet the needs of different healthcare organizations.

From a single source

As a sovereign German cloud provider, STACKIT not only covers the infrastructure for TI-M, but also offers a turnkey software-as-a-service solution.

TI-Messenger consulting

Consultative advice: working well together in challenging cases

Healthcare is complex and often requires interdisciplinary collaboration and expert advice. TI-M makes it easier for experts from different specialties to exchange information securely and consult in real time. As all players are networked in the nationwide address book, doctors can access experts in a targeted manner, communicate across sectors and help patients more quickly.

TI Messenger: digital consultation hour

Digital consultation hours: better care for patients anywhere and at any time

TI-M is revolutionizing patient care with digital consultation hours. This is particularly beneficial for immobile patients or people in rural areas with limited medical care. In future, doctors will be able to exchange sensitive information with patients via text message or video chat. This enables close follow-up care and uncomplicated coordination in case management.

TI Messenger: Patient management

Patient management: improving communication for health insurance companies

Health insurance companies can use TI-M to optimize and automate their communication. This includes personalized information, satisfaction surveys and automated appointment bookings and reminders. By "steering" patients individually, health insurance companies can provide them with targeted care. They can also refer patients to specialists or clinics and improve quality assurance.

He is tapping on a futuristic, transparent tablet that projects holographic medical symbols, data graphs, and a global map onto the table surface. The scene conveys a sense of digital healthcare, technology, and medical innovation.
